Cars: McLaren 600 LT Spider
This pure blood reaches 324 km / h. It is equipped with a retractable hardtop with electric drive. It is one of the lightest cars in the market and its value starts from 255 thousand dollars.
Like all the McLarens that have earned the LT name before, the 600LT Spider is aggressively aerodynamic and obsessively light. In fact, its exclusive carbon fiber MonoCell II chassis is so light and strong that no additional reinforcement was necessary to maintain the incredible levels of performance and agility.
All design signals that are focused and resolved are present here. An aggressive fixed aerodynamic package. The elongated silhouette. The lowered posture and the widest track. Ultralight aligned wheels - wrapped with Pirelli P ZERO TM Trofeo R tires, focused on the track. And the Alcantara® interior minimalist design.
The meticulously polished and sculpted profile of the 600LT Spi- der has been shaped with a clear purpose: to increase aerodyna- mic efficiency and channel air for cooling. This is a true Longtail... with a back that is 47 mm longer than the 570S. It was made this way to increase the aerodynamic strength. Which transforms stability in fast corners.
They found weight savings throughout the car. From the wheels to the seats. And from the Lightweight Alcantara® used to cover many of the surfaces to the information and entertainment system with touch screen that eliminates the need of heavier switches. They even removed the carpets and pockets of the doors. The result, in a few words, is the lightest car in its class.
The 600LT Spider is as focused on performance as the 600LT Coupe. It shares the same 3.8-liter double turbocharged V8 engine and the super-fast inertial thrust speed changes. Which means that its power is powered by 30PS and 20 Nm of additional torque. It also comes with the same super-fast inertial thrust speed changes. The same Active Dynamics for precise handling. Not to mention the powerful and responsive braking system, which you can also find in the McLaren 720S. The result? The 600LT Spider takes only 2.9 seconds to reach 100 km / h, the same as the 600LT Coupe. And it also achieves an incredible top speed of 324 kph.
The 600LT Spider has a retractable hardtop with electric drive, which can be folded and deployed while running, at a speed of up to 40 km / h. In addition, as standard, it incorporates an electric wind deflector, which can be activated independently of the roof. This allows you to avoid turbulence or get to listen better the sound of the V8 engine.
